My name is Matthew Jon Smith, and I am an author of horror stories. Once I got the courage to actually started writing, I got on a roll, and now I just can't stop. It is like something has taken me over.
Horror, in all its terrifying forms, is the backbone of what I write. I appreciate every approach to the genre, from eerie whispers during a stormy night, to the chilling psyche of a cold-hearted, blood-soaked killer. From age-old folklore that sends shivers down your spine, to tales of sentient food with sinister intentions lurking in your fridge. Horror is my cup of tea, and I savor it in every flavor. I must admit I have sweet tooth for the bleak and dark.
